If your fan has a very small base and the regular (common) sized receivers were too big for your fan housing, this is the only receiver you could find that would fit. The kit can work with most bulbs less than 500W in total, so please do not overload.

There's a timer function which is great because no more leaving a fan running all day in an empty room and worrying about the power bill. The remote can work well with LED bulbs and incandescent ones, but it does not have a dimming function - only "on" and "off" for the light kit.

Installation is a breeze, and the remote's appearance is second to none. Just make sure you have room in the ceiling fan for the remote box. Connecting the receiver to the fan and the house wiring is easy. The remote also comes with a wall-mount holder, so you can leave it over the wall switch or take it out like a remote.

Please note that this is an AC motor fan light remote and cannot work on a DC motor fan light. If you encounter any issues, check the power, switches, receiver installation, remote batteries, and potential interference from other RF products.
